Error: Cannot open file *.INF (during Setup) (due to not enough) memory.
Error:
Cannot open file *.INF.
Cause:

1) Close other open Windows applications.

3) If the computer has less than 8 megabytes of RAM, remove any RAM drives by remarking them out in the Config.sys file.
4) Deactivate SmartDrive:
a) Exit Windows.
b) Type the following commands at the MS-DOS prompt and press ENTER after each:
CD\ (returns the prompt to the root directory)
EDIT AUTOEXEC.BAT

C:\WINDOWS\SMARTDRV.EXE
NOTE: The above line loads the version of SmartDrive that is provided with Microsoft Windows.
